If you have a dancer like I do, you may have a child who loves Jojo Siwa.
Jojo with her big bow, rainbow and unicorn apparel, awesome dance moves, and singing ability, it’s no wonder she’s so popular among kids, even if they don't know her from Dance Moms.
My daughter loves to watch YouTube videos of Jojo dancing and singing, and she owns a lot of her apparel and accessories including shirts, shorts, dresses, jackets, shoes, and of course the iconic Jojo bows. She hopes to go to dance competitions in the future and we have explained to her that she would be attending a friendly dance competition.
Since my daughter was turning 6 in May, she decided months ago she wanted a Jojo Siwa themed event birthday party. I did not know there were so many Jojo Siwa birthday party supplies available.
I was even able to make her a glittery outfit to wear that included a 6-birthday shirt, a Jojo Siwa Bomber Jacket, a rainbow skirt, a large Jojo Bow, and Jojo High-top sneakers. These tiny details really add to the excitement and my child's birthday party fun.
I went to work on planning my daughter’s Jojo Siwa birthday party and found some adorable birthday party supplies.
Check out how I planned her Jojo Siwa Birthday Party Ideas complete with a nail salon, Photo Booth, Candy Buffet, and more, and gave her an awesome party!

Jojo Siwa Party Food
We decided to plan a combined friend birthday party and family birthday party. This meant I had to plan for enough party food.
1. Pizza
For her party, I decided to go with pizza because the party started at 2pm. My daughter loves pizza and always wants to get it from her favorite pizza place in town. We ordered 3 sheet pizzas and that was plenty. You could pick up the pizzas or select a delivery time to have the pizzas arrive when you need them.
2. Juice Boxes
The easiest drinks for children are juice boxes. You just pop the straw in and they’re not typically a big mess. I was able to get a variety of flavors and they were all gone before the party ended.
3. Pasta Salad
I made a simple kid-friendly pasta salad my daughter loves. She requests it often and even requested it for her birthday party. This pasta salad includes pasta, ham, Colby Jack cheese, cheddar cheese, apples, and Italian dressing. We went with bow tie pasta to stick with the party theme. Pasta salad has a wide variety of food for your children and tastes delicious.
4. Macaroni Salad
My mom offers to make a macaroni salad for every party I have. She makes hers with mayonnaise instead of oil and vinegar. She also used bow tie pasta to stick with the party theme. It was a different taste to include in the foods and everyone loves it.
5. Fruit Salad
I tend to make a huge fruit salad for every party. The very first party I had; the entire giant bowl was empty by the end of the party. Since it was such a big hit, I decided to make it for every party since. My fruit salad can change slightly, but the most common fruits I include are strawberries, blueberries, purple seedless grapes, pineapple, and seedless watermelon.
6. Water Bottles
The easiest drink option is bottles of water. Each person can grab one and carry it around with them. I recommend having a Sharpie and masking tape near the drinks so guests can label their bottles and cups with their name. You could also pick up a few cases of little water bottles since many people don't finish a full-size water bottle.
7. Jojo Siwa Birthday Cake Ideas
I decided to make my daughter a sparkly cake for her birthday party to stick with the Jojo Siwa theme.
I started by baking 2 9” cake rounds with Funfetti cake mix. Once cooled, I cut the cake round to make them flat and layered them with white buttercream frosting between the layers. I then frosted the outside of the cake with the rest of the white buttercream frosting. I used 2 full cans of frosting. I purchased a sparkly ribbon band that was not edible and wrapped it around the outside of the cake. Then, I topped the cake with unicorn and rainbow sprinkles. I purchased a Jojo Siwa cake topper to put on the cake along with 2 spiral lollipops. I finished the cake by making edible fondant pink bows and sprinkled the bow and the top of the cake with edible silver glitter.
If cake decorating is not something you have the time to do, cake sheets are a great option and will feed a large group of people. You can add a cake topper or other fun Jojo Siwa themed party supplies to make the cake Jojo Siwa themed. These cakes also work to create cake pops, if that is the type of item you want to include in your child's party.
8. Jojo Siwa Cupcakes
I decided to make my daughter's cupcakes for her birthday party. I bought a set of jpg image cake toppers that were not edible cake toppers, but the frosting and glitter really helped complete the sparkly effect.
These Rainbow Sparkle Cupcakes were a huge hit with my daughter and her friends. They were not only beautiful with the high-quality edible ink I used for the rainbow-colored butter cream frosting, but they tasted amazing.

Jojo Siwa Party Decorations
1. Plates & Napkins
One of my favorite additions to birthday parties is the themed plates and napkins. I will purchase 1 set of themed plates and napkins and purchase some plain or generic as well from Party City and Dollar Tree.
I purchased this Jojo Siwa set off Amazon Here!
2. Happy Birthday Banner
My daughter’s Jojo Siwa birthday party needed a Happy Birthday banner. I found some very cute banners to add to her party decor. You could get personalized banners or simple banners that would work great. I added the banner above her Candy Buffet table.
There are some great Happy Birthday Banners on Amazon, like these Here!
3. Jojo Siwa Table Signs
We had multiple booths at the party with activities the kids could do and favors for the kids to take when they arrived. I created signs to tell the kids what some of the stations were.
“Bows Make Everything Better - All Kids, Pick Your Style & Grab a Bow to Wear”
“Better With Some Glitter on It - Candy Buffet”
“Siwanator - Photo Booth”
“Energy in a Bottle - Nail Station”
4. Balloons
I found some colorful rainbow balloons for the party to create a balloon arch. The balloons I ordered came with a strip to create the balloon garland. To be honest, we ran out of time and couldn’t create the balloon arch, but the kids loved playing with the balloons, and we decorated with some of them to add bright colors to the room. I added a pink Mylar number 6 balloon for my daughter to enjoy as well. We used that at the Photo Booth.
You can get the Balloon Arch balloons off Amazon by following the link Here.
The Pink Mylar number 6 balloon you can find Here on Amazon along with many other colors.
5. Tablecloths
Since my daughter was having a large birthday party this year, I bought multiple Jojo Siwa tablecloths to decorate the table the kids would eat at. I also purchased sparkly tablecloths and some plain pink tablecloths as well to use on the rest of the tables.
Jojo Siwa Tablecloths were not difficult to find. Here are some nice ones I came across from Amazon.
6. Rainbow Sparkle Backdrop
If you want the perfect photo background, you can grab a Rainbow Sparkle Backdrop. We used this backdrop for our Photo Booth, and it made the best background. You can also hang it up behind the cake table as well.
I could not pass up this awesome Rainbow Sparkle Backdrop I found Here on Amazon.
7. Tents
If you are having an outside party, it is important to put up tents. Guests will want the option to get out of the sun if it’s a hot day. We have had bouncy houses for parties at our house and wanted to have the bouncy houses in the shade. We used one of the tents over the bouncy house and it worked out great. We also wanted to keep bugs away from the food, so we used an enclosed tent to protect the food.
8. Tables
Prepare ahead of time how many tables you will need. Make sure to include the amount of food to put out, how many people will be sitting to eat, and where guests will set out presents. I used a variety of table sizes depending on what the table was being used for. You could plan it out the best way for your location.
9. Chairs
It is important to have enough chairs for the number of guests invited. You do not want guests standing around holding their plates in their hands to eat or sitting on a table because their feet hurt. I have asked my parents and in-laws to bring chairs to give us more. There are also rental companies to get tents, tables, and chairs as
Jojo Siwa Party Activities
1. Photo Booth
My daughter wanted a place at the party for kids to take their picture. What better way to do that than to create an easy DIY Photo Booth. The kids could grab a fun prop and stand in front of the backdrop to take a picture. My husband had his iPad set up on a stand with a mini photo printer hooked up to it via Bluetooth. He could use an app to take their picture and send the picture to the printer for their very own Photo Booth picture. He could print as many copies as he wanted to for the kids. The Photo Booth was a hit!
You can grab your very own instant mini photo printer on Amazon. I purchased the
Fujifilm Instax Mini Link 2, which I highly recommend.
2. Nail Station
My mother-in-law is a licensed cosmetologist and volunteered her services to paint the nails of all the kids at the party. She had a live the entire party with girls and boys. For the nail salon, she would give each child a mini manicure completes with lotion, nail polish, topcoat, and they could sit with their fingers in front of a fan. They had little finger separators to help keep them from smudging and a little nail file to take home with them.
If you want to have your very own nail salon, check out These Awesome Nail Kits on Amazon to find one that works best for you.
3. Axe Throwing
The party seemed a little heavy with girly activities, so we wanted to mix it up a little. We ended up purchasing 2 axe throwing kits to hang on the wall and they were a huge hit. No one would win a prize for axe throwing, but they had a blast playing. The axe throwing kits I went with consisted of Velcro boards and plastic axes with Velcro on the end.
4. Party Games
When the kids were not running around to the different booths, we played a few party games. I did award prizes to the winners and at the end of the party, I let the kids all pick out of the prize bucket. This is a tough age because feelings can be hurt if they don’t win, but they also learn they may not win every game. We played Freeze Dance and Musical Chairs. There are so many other party games you can choose from.
Jojo Siwa Party Favor Ideas
1. Hair Bows & Bow Ties
When the party guests first arrived at the party, the children could select a bow to wear so they can dress like Jojo Siwa and have their own bows. We had hair bows and bow ties in so many different colors that each child was bound to find their favorite color. The iconic bows for the hair we purchased were authentic Jojo Siwa bows, which is a big part of Jojo and her brand. I was able to find a large package of kids bow ties that were inexpensive and great quality for anyone that would prefer a bow tie over a hair bow.
If you want to buy a package of Jojo Siwa bows, grab them Here from Amazon.
You could also find the bow ties I Bought for the Party Here on Amazon.
2. Candy Buffet
My daughter insisted we have candy for her birthday party, she was going to become the candy queen. I wanted to take it a step further and set up an entire table of candy complete with cake, cupcakes, and party favor bags. I researched what candy to get to stay away from peanuts and found many peanut free products to choose from. I bought a large collection of plastic colorful containers to display the candy in and it looked awesome.
Looking for all the best candy for your dessert table? Hope over to Amazon and start adding candy to your checklist.
3. Candy Goodie Bags
Before I decorated the venue with the candy, I made each child their own party favors goodie bag with 1 of each piece of candy. The bonus to the goodie bags is the kids could also put their bows, prizes, and Photo Booth photos in their bags too.
I found these awesome Unicorn Goodie Bags that are sold on Amazon and can hold so much.
4. Thank You Tags
My graphic designer cousin designed high quality Thank You Tags, and I attached them to each goodie bag. To attach them to the goodie bags, I punched a hole in the top and used twine to tie the tags on. It’s a great way to thank your guests for coming to the party.
Jojo Siwa is such a fun theme to use and there are so many ideas you could include to make your child’s birthday celebration great.
The sky is the limit with a Jojo Siwa birthday party. You could have any party activities you want and tie the whole party together with a unicorn and rainbow color scheme.
